

Gresford Athletic earn a big victory at home against Llanrug United in Round Two of the 2025/26 JD Welsh Cup on Saturday.
In-form forward Jake Roberts kicked things off with the opener in just the eighth minute, firing home on the rebound Toby Gallagher-Keenan's initial effort on the crossbar.
In the 11th minute, Iwan Roberts tried to find The Colliers' second goal of the game, dribbling well until his shot was saved by Llanrug United goalkeeper Owen Bracegirdle.
Then, in the 13th minute, Haci Ozlu produced some good work down the right-hand side, finding Toby Gallagher-Keenan with a great pass, but the latter's first-time effort went over the crossbar.
However, it was a second goal for Jake Roberts in the 17th minute, again on the rebound from a saved Haci Ozlu strike to make it 2-0.
Lewis Dutton was called upon in the 25th minute and made a good save to deny a dangerous effort from Llanrug United.
It was a first-half hat-trick for Jake Roberts in the 30th minute, as the forward capitalised on a defensive error added a third goal for Gresford Athletic.
Roberts then had the ball in the back of the net for a fourth time, but his effort in the 39th-minute was ruled out for offside.
Louis Holden had a good effort from long-range in the 42nd minute, but his strike went just past the post.

The second half started perfectly for The Colliers, with Iwan Roberts bagging the fourth goal after some superb footwork in the 49th minute.
Then, in the 51st minute, Haci Ozlu added to the scoreline, nicking the ball high up the pitch and curling it home.
Tom Smith came close to getting a goal for himself, but his 64th-minute effort was well-saved by Owen Bracegirdle in the Llanrug United net.
However, Iwan Roberts bagged a brace in the 68th minute to make it six for Gresford Athletic.
Then, Haci Ozlu played a lovely ball across goal to Roberts, who tapped it home to add a hat-trick of his own in the 73rd minute.
Substitute Dominic Deacon added a eighth goal in the 83rd minute, slotting it home following a fantastic cross from Alex Buxton.
To round things off, Deacon managed to get a second goal in added time, getting on the end of great ball from Haci Ozlu and cementing the biggest win of Round Two for Gresford Athletic, who go into the hat for the next stage of the 2025/26 JD Welsh Cup.
