13 minutes in, Gresford Athletic found a way to take the lead, with Toby Gallagher-Keenan opening the scoring with a fantastic finish following a good Reece Oliver pass and a good flick-on from Dave Forbes.

However, Lewis Dutton was called upon in the 18th minute to make a superb save to deny a Llandudno chance.

Then, in the 23rd minute, Llandudno found an equaliser, with Adam Stephens picking up a loose ball and curling it into the net.

Gresford Athletic continued to push on, though, and in the 28th minute, were awarded a penalty, which Charley Edge put away calmly to regain the advantage.

Lewis Dutton made another good save in the 38th minute at point-blank range to keep Gresford Athletic in the lead.

Just before half time, though, Adam Stephens found a second equaliser for Llandudno, heading it in with force from a corner.

The second half was slightly delayed due to an issue with the officials, resulting in a Llandudno official having to step in as the linesman to replace Laura Roberts, but referee Iolo Williams took charge of calling the offsides.

The remaining 45 minutes got underway and just nine minutes later, Llandudno had the lead, with Mark Cadwallader scoring his second of the evening.

Joe Nelson tried his luck from long range in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Then, in the 80th minute, Alex Boss put Llandudno two in front, turning in a rebounded Adam Stephen’s effort.

To cement the result, Llandudno made it five in the 88th minute, as Mark Cadwallader grabbed his second goal from another header.

Gresford Athletic must move on quickly and pick up some much-needed points to ensure that they claw back some ground in the league table.
