Gresford Athletic have today completed the signing of Sam Pickering.

This is the club's third signing of the 2021/22 January transfer window.

The defender has a range of experience playing in the English leagues, having played for Upton AA, Oswestry Town and Chester Nomads.

The 25-year-old most recently played for Prestatyn Town, signing for them in the summer of 2021.

He has made five appearances during the 2021/22 season so far, winning two games.

Sam left Prestatyn Town, who are currently in 12th place of the 2021/22 JD Cymru North table, during the 2021/22 season and now signs for Gresford Athletic.
