He added, the club know Eddie well as a former player and his recent success in Sunday Football management and his knowledge of local football is second to none. He had an impressive interview and he knows the strengths of our existing squad and confirmed that it is his number one priority is to keep them at the club but at the same time recognises the squad needs a small injection of new blood. In addition to appointing a new manager, we are also thrilled to appoint Josh Griffiths as a player coach to work alongside Eddie and we see this as the icing on the cake as not only are we getting an enthusiastic coach, we are bringing to the club a very talented footballer.”
