Gresford Athletic have today completed the resigning of Max Peate from Rhyl.
Here is what first team manager Eddie Maurice-Jones and director of football Steve Halliwell had to say on the signing:
Gresford Athletic first team manager Eddie Maurice-Jones:
"After discussing with Max about a possible return to Gresford Athletic, we both felt it was the right decision. Max arguably played his best football at Gresford Athletic and is highly thought of at the club. I believe this is a positive signing and the right environment for Max to fur fill his potential and enjoy his football. Max is a big character within the dressing room, a leader and very committed to winning. He will bring quality and add healthy competition to the group."
Gresford Athletic director of football Steve Halliwell:
"Bringing Max back to be a part of what we’re trying to build was a no brainer. He's a local lad, who knows the club inside out having been captain here, and he still really close with all the lads, added to his undoubted talent. It’s another top signing!"
