Matthew Jones has been appointed Gresford Athletic Secretary ahead of the 2022/23 season, replacing Patrick Marshall, who has stepped down from the role.

The news was confirmed during Thursday's Gresford Athletic 2022 Annual General Meeting.

Matt joined the club in 2018, when he was appointed Gresford Athletic Media Officer, a role he held for four years, and has become a key member of the club's committee.

He can often be spotted on the sidelines home and away, filming Gresford Athletic games for analysis from the First Team coaching staff, as well as public viewing of highlights.
