THE OPPOSITION
Radnor Valley, nicknamed The Goats, are a newly-promoted Lock Stock Ardal North East team, following their title-winning 2022/23 season in the MMP Central Wales League South.
They currently sit in fifth place in the table after five games, following wins against Llandrindod Wells and Llangollen Town, as well as two draws against Llanuwchllyn and Dolgellau AA in between a loss to Builth Wells.
To reach the knockout rounds of the 2023/24 JD Welsh Cup, they had to go through two qualifying rounds, in which they beat Waterloo Rovers 2-0 and then earned a 2-1 away victory over Llansantffraid Village.
HEAD TO HEAD
Gresford Athletic have not ever faced Radnor Valley in their history, according to available records.
The clubs will come against each other for the first time in a game that should be an interesting cup tie.
