Jake Eyre has left Gresford Athletic

Jake Eyre has today left Gresford Athletic to resign for Airbus UK Broughton.

Despite initially agreeing to stay at the club earlier in the summer, the 24-year-old has now returned to one of his former clubs.

The forward first signed for the club in the summer of 2016 and has been influential on the pitch and inside the dressing room during his four years at Gresford Athletic.

The 2019/20 season was arguably his best season at the club, where he scored 19 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions, earning four man of the match awards, as well as both the First Team Top Goalscorer and Players' Player of the Season awards at the Gresford Athletic 2019/20 End of Season Awards.

He resigns for fellow JD Cyrmru North club Airbus UK Broughton, who were relegated from the JD Cymru Premier during the 2019/20 season, finishing in 12th place on points-per-game.

Everyone at Gresford Athletic thanks you for your time at the club and wishes you all the best for the future, Jake!
