The reserves wrap up their season tonight when they travel to 'The Rock' to face Cefn Druids.
This really should have been a title deciding game but a couple of slip ups when playing 'strong' reserve teams has given Druids the lead during the run in.
There is still a chance Gresford could win the league though, albeit a narrow one. If they win tonight and Druids fail to beat Holywell Town next Friday then they would be champions.
Either way, it has been a fantastic season for the reserves who will finish in second place as a minimum. They also reached the league cup final but fate was not on their side and a ludicrous situation saw them kicked out for fielding an ineligible player. The less said about that the better!
Tonight should be a cracking game with both sides playing 'true' reserve lads, many of them in their first year of senior football. The game kicks off at 7:30pm tonight.
