Gresford Athletic have resigned Dave MacIntyre

Gresford Athletic have today completed the resigning of Dave MacIntyre from Rhyl.

The midfielder has previously played for the club before signing for Rhyl.

The 31-year-old has plenty of exeperience in the JD Cymru Leagues, starting his career at Caergwrle Castle before signing for Castell Alun Colts and then Rhos Aelwyd, where he stayed for a couple of seasons.

He joined Ruthin Town for one season and then signed for Buckley Town and Brymbo before signing for Denbigh Town, where he stayed from 2013 to 2016. He then made the move to Cefn Druids before quickly signing for Gresford Athletic in September 2016, his first spell at the club.

He then left the club in 2018 and signed for Rhyl, in which he showed his quakity for a couple of seasons at the club, which included superbly overcoming the serious injury of a fractured skull in just his seventh game, until they dissolved at the end of the 2019/20 season.

This is the club's eigth signing of the day ahead of the 2020/21 season and improving the quality in the midfield even more.
