Following today's announcement on Facebook, we would like to state that the resignation of the Committee Members and First Team Coaching Staff came out of the blue and without prior knowledge of the remaining Committee Members of Gresford Athletic Football Club.

The two remaining members are in the dark regarding the reason for this and are unaware of any so-called new and different direction or plan.

Unfortunately, the harsh reality is that the future of the football club is now uncertain following today's resignations. This is something that is deeply upsetting for ourselves and is a sad state for this fantastic football club.

We will do our best to fulfil this weekend’s away fixture against Holyhead Hotspur in the 2025/26 JD Cymru North and will aim to provide further updates when possible.
