During the 2023/24 season, he unfortunately suffered an injury to kept him on the sidelines for over three months. However, he has still managed to rack up 27 appearances in all competitions, often playing in midfield, but sometimes as a winger and even in the defensive line when required.

Ellis did also chip in with two goals over the last season, both of which have come at crucial moments in the club's JD Cymru North campaign, and provided one assist.

Gresford Athletic First Team Manager Eddie Maurice-Jones says that Ellis brings a range of valuable qualities to the squad:

"His experience and maturity is beyond his years and proven invaluable, particularly when adapting to different positions and roles. His calm and collected approach adds further strengths to the team.

Gresford Athletic First Team Assistant Manager Jonathan Hill-Dunt mentions that Ellis is willing to slot in at multiple positions when called upon:

"Harvey is a very clever player and worth his weight in gold, being able to play in three or four positions.

"Versatile players usually go under the radar, filling in a few positions, but he does it with a smile on his face."
